Want to help strengthen your bones, improve your balance, relaxation and sense of wellbeing? Join this special class designed by Dr. Lam, a physician and a Tai Chi master, together with his medical colleagues for people with Osteoporosis. It is easy-to-learn, safe and effective.
We will learn an excellent set of warm-ups that you’ll love doing daily, invigorating Qigong breathing exercises, and flowing and soothing tai chi movements which will teach you how to move safely in four directions—a great safety skill that you can apply to your daily life to prevent falls.
Elissa Berardi is certified as a Tai Chi instructor by the Oriental Fitness Institute of Philadelphia and has taught Tai Chi since 2010. She is also certified to teach Tai Chi for Osteoporosis and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention by the international Tai Chi for Health Institute. In addition, Elissa studied at the Omega Institute in New York, studied and taught at the Won Institute, and has trained with many east and west coast Masters.
